jili super ace free play BERLIN (AP) — Harry Kane scored a hat trick including two penalties for Bayern Munich to beat Augsburg 3-0 in the Bundesliga on Friday. The win stretched Bayern’s lead to eight points ahead of the rest of the 11th round, and Kane took his goals tally to a league-leading 14. The England forward is the fastest player to reach 50 goals in the Bundesliga in what was his 43rd game. However, coach Vincent Kompany should be concerned by his team’s ongoing difficulty of scoring in matches it dominates. Bayern previously defeated St. Pauli and Benfica only 1-0. Kompany’s team had to wait until stoppage time before Kane sealed the result with his second penalty. Two minutes later, Kane scored with a header after controlling Leon Goretzka's cross with his first touch for a flattering scoreline. “We had to be patient,” Kane said. “And at halftime that’s what we said, to keep doing what we’re doing. We had a few chances in the first half and we just had to be a bit more clinical and obviously, thankfully, we got the penalty to kind of open the game up.” Mads Pedersen was penalized for handball following a VAR review and Kane duly broke the deadlock in the 63rd. Bayern continued as before with 80% possession, but had to wait for Keven Schlotterbeck to be penalized through VAR for a foul on Kane. Kane sealed the result in the third minute of stoppage time and there was still time for him to grab another. It’s Bayern’s seventh consecutive win without conceding a goal since it conceded four at Barcelona (4-1) on Oct. 23 in the Champions League. “You can see now that we have a solid defense and that's the basis, also in games like today's,” Bayern midfielder Joshua Kimmich said. “When it's a game of patience, then it's important for us to know that sometimes one goal will have to do. Like today we added two more before the finish, but in the end you only need to score one more than the opponent.” Bayern next hosts Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday, then Borussia Dortmund away in the Bundesliga next weekend, before defending champion Bayer Leverkusen visits in the third round of the German Cup. AP soccer: https://apnews.com/hub/soccerThe Ada Community Chiefs Association has urged both the outgoing government and President-elect John Mahama to address the violent attacks on workers at the community pan in Bornikope, located in the Ada West Constituency. The incident, which occurred on December 21, 2024, at approximately 10 a.m., resulted in two men sustaining injuries and the destruction of salt evaporation equipment. According to reports, the victims were allegedly mining salt at the concessions when they were attacked. Investigations have been initiated by the Sege District Police Headquarters following the filing of an assault case. Authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack. One of the victims, 49-year-old Korletey Kuglenu, shared his harrowing experience. He described being brutally beaten by members of the community during the assault, which left him injured and devastated as his livelihood was destroyed. The chiefs have called for swift and decisive action against the perpetrators to ensure justice for the victims and to prevent further violence in the area. “Monday around 10:30, I went to my site. When I got there I saw some people there on the site, when I got closer one person called Sampson picked a stick and hit me with it twice for me to fall, when I tried to escape, another person called Mike came to hold my shirt and said the command says he should take my phone they took one motorbike belonging to my worker. After the incident, we went to the hospital but we were asked to go to the police station.” Speaking at a press conference, the Executive Secretary of the Association, Nene Daniel Sewu III, condemned the attack, describing it as a politically motivated attempt to destabilize the community. “Instead of supporting this transformative initiative, some individuals are manipulating others to seek their political interest. This must be condemned. The perpetrators of this violence must be brought to justice to serve as a caution to others who might harbour similar intentions. He further called on all stakeholders to adopt a non-partisan approach to resolving disputes over the Songor Lagoon, emphasizing the need for peace and stability in the area. We stand united in our demand for peace, progress and justice for Ada. The development of our region must not be hindered by the selfish ambition of few. We call on all stakeholders to join in condemning this action.” Explore the world of impactful news with CitiNewsroom on WhatsApp! BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Barcelona lost at home for the first time this season when the Liga leader was stunned by Las Palmas 2-1 on Saturday. Sandro Ramirez and Fábio Silva scored for the Canary Islands club on either side of Raphinha’s equalizer to give Las Palmas its first win at Barcelona in more than 50 years. Barcelona played superbly in the first three months under new coach Hansi Flick and was flying high after convincing victories over Real Madrid in the domestic competition and Bayern Munich in the Champions League. It had won all eight of its home games. But it has gone three rounds of La Liga without a win. Before Las Palmas, it fell at Real Sociedad 1-0 and drew at Celta Vigo 2-2 after squandering a two-goal lead in the final minutes. The dropped points mean Madrid, despite its own troubles , especially in the Champions League, can move ahead of Barcelona in La Liga. It trails Barcelona by four points with two games in hand. “I don’t care about scoring, I care about winning,” Raphinha said after his standout performance was unable to end Barcelona's slump. “We have to take a hard look at what we are doing wrong. We have slipped in our form and are letting games get away form us. We have our next game on Tuesday (at Mallorca), and we need to turn this around so we can win the league.” Atletico Madrid was only two points behind Barcelona in second place — and with the same number of games played — after Antoine Griezmann scored a gem of a goal in a 5-0 demolition of last-placed Valladolid. History for Las Palmas Las Palmas savored its first victory at Barcelona since the 1971-72 season and just its third victory at the Catalan club overall. The other visits by the modest side that wears all yellow uniforms to Barcelona have ended in 34 defeats and three draws. “We are thrilled because we have made history,” Sandro said. “When you start the season you think that these games are usually going to end in wins for the bigger side, but if there is one thing we believe in is our capacity to work hard all week to get results like this.” Barcelona's Lamine Yamal returned from a right ankle injury that sidelined him for three weeks. Yamal appeared as a halftime substitute and Jasper Cillessen saved his best shot. The Las Palmas goalkeeper also palmed a Raphinha free kick over his bar in the final minutes. Sandro, a former Barcelona youth player, capped a fine five-pass buildup by Las Palmas from its own box as it masterfully undid Barcelona’s high pressure in the 49th minute. Raphinha had already hit the crossbar in the first half before he equalized in the 61st. The Brazil forward took a short pass from Pedri just outside the area, skirted across the edge and drilled a shot between two defenders. But Barcelona was caught pushing forward for a second goal when Silva controlled a ball from Javi Muñoz and sent in a shot bouncing past Iñaki Peña in the 67th. The unexpected loss dampened Barcelona’s celebration of its 125th anniversary, which included the debut of its new mascot “Cat,” a large, yellow feline wearing its team kit. Balde carried off Barcelona lost left back Alejandro Balde early in the game when he couldn’t continue after he crashed into Sandro at full speed. Balde appeared to hurt his upper chest or neck area when he ran into Sandro’s shoulder. He was carried off on a stretcher and replaced by Gerard Martín. Griezmann applauded Griezmann scored one of the goals of the season when the forward exchanged a quick one-two with Julián Alvarez and used a sleek touch of the inside of his boot to roll the ball with him as he spun before dinking it over the Valladolid goalkeeper. That was the visitor's fourth goal. Shortly after, Valladolid fans stood up and applauded when Griezmann was substituted. “That is what every players wants, to make people enjoy what we do. So I appreciate their warmth,” Griezmann said. Atletico also got goals from Alvarez, Clement Lenglet, Rodrigo de Paul, and Alexander Sorloth. Espanyol ends losing streak Espanyol beat Celta 3-1 to end a streak of four losses in the league and relieve pressure on coach Manolo González. Alaves also drew with Leganes 1-1 at home. ___ AP soccer: https://apnews.com/hub/soccer Joseph Wilson, The Associated PressPhotronics, Inc. ( NASDAQ:PLAB – Get Free Report ) Director Walter M. Tony Blair calls out Keir Starmer over Labour's brutal tax raids

THE FIRST seat has been filled as the count draws on at Limerick Racecourse, and Fine Gael Minister for Higher and Further Education Patrick O’Donovan is home and dry for another Dáil term. The Fine Gael man was lifted on high in the county centre as the results were declared, but his confidence had been higher since he first stepped foot into the count centre earlier this afternoon. The County Limerick TD took home 11,563 on the first count, just passing out the 11,385 quota. Speaking with tongue firmly in cheek to Newstalk earlier, Deputy O’Donovan said that County Limerick has a “strong tradition” of “fairly accurate tallies” and so he was confident that his seat would be secured. The Fine Gael TD, who found himself becoming the first ever Fine Gael TD in County Limerick to be returned on the first count, thanked his family, wife and children, and supporters who had spurred him on over the three-week election cycle to be voted back into what he described as the “most rural constituency in Ireland”. Reacting to his re-election this evening, Deputy O’Donovan said he was “delighted”. “I want to thank the people of County Limerick for the massive vote they gave me and my supporters, my family, my wife and children especially, and everybody across Limerick who voted for me.” When asked if he was worried if his seat was ever in jeopardy, O’Donovan replied that “we had a positive reception out on the doors” which he said was due to the work he put in over “five years as opposed to five weeks”. Reflecting back on his bout of ill-health earlier last year, when the Fine Gael man had to be hospitalised after collapsing in the Dáil chamber in June 2023, a delighted O’Donovan said that “I could have walked away but I decided I’d stick at it and the people have responded positively to me so I’m delighted”. Hot in contention for the second and third seat are Independent Ireland’s Richard O’Donoghue (10,540 votes) and Fianna Fáil’s Niall Collins (9,284) in what seems a given for the final shape of the three-seater constituency. However, as eliminations go on and transfers become clear, Sinn Féin’s Joanne Collins (6,005) may come back a strong contented. A first count for the Limerick City constituency is expected soon.Pro wrestling champion dead at 48 following heart attack

Jimmy Carter , who followed a principled yet tumultuous single term in the White House with a post-presidency dedicated to human rights and peace advocacy, has died. At 100, Carter — who was born on Oct. 1, 1924 — lived longer than any other U.S. president and had the longest post-presidency. His grandson, Jason Carter, spoke at the Democratic National Convention and said that the former president was looking forward to voting for Kamala Harris. In 1974, not even five months after Richard Nixon resigned the presidency, Carter entered the race for the Democratic nomination as a virtual unknown. At the time, Gallup polled a list of 31 possible Democratic contenders, and Carter’s name didn’t even make the list, according to The New York Times. Then in his first and only term as governor of Georgia, Carter had even appeared on the game show What’s My Line?, to a maskless panel that had trouble identifying who he was. Carter used his political anonymity to his advantage, running as an outsider who could bring to Washington just the type of integrity and personal morality needed in the aftermath of the Watergate era. His decision to campaign heavily in the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses proved fortuitous, as he used the media attention from his unexpected showing as springboard for the rest of the nomination contests. In Hollywood, the relatively young Carter became a celebrity in his own right, forging ties with Lew Wasserman that gave him an entree into fundraising and celebrity circuit. That proved to be a lifeline at key moments in the campaign: At one point, according to The Washington Post , Carter’s campaign was so broke that Wasserman quickly organized a fundraiser that got the campaign a badly needed $200,000. After securing the nomination, Carter was initially way ahead of his rival, President Gerald R. Ford, who was hurt by his decision to pardon Nixon as well as an intra party battle with its conservative wing. The gap narrowed in the final weeks of the campaign, though, after Carter, a born-again Baptist, gave an interview to Playboy in which he said, “I’ve looked on a lot of women with lust. I’ve committed adultery in my heart many times.” Carter still won the election, but by a rather narrow 297-240 electoral votes. His victory was greeted as a new era of good government in Washington — the Carter smile a contrast to the scowl of Nixon. The fact that he was from Georgia was touted as a sign of a new South, built on the rather superficial idea that the racial divisions of the 1960s were in the past. Pop culture seized on the moment with light-hearted movies like Smokey and the Bandit and TV series like The Dukes of Hazzard that generally presented the region as one of rednecks and good ole’ boys. ABC even scheduled a rural sitcom, Carter Country, that ran for two seasons. In the first line of his inauguration speech, Carter thanked Ford “for all he has done to heal our land,” but the new president signaled a shift to a center-left approach to government. In the White House, Carter shunned the pomp in favor of a more populist image: He did away with the playing of Hail to the Chief at ceremonies, and resurrected Franklin Roosevelt’s fireside chats, as he instructed Americans on conservation during the ongoing energy crisis. Even with large majorities of Democrats in the House and Senate, however, Carter’s early days in D.C. drew friction. A scandal forced a close aide, Bert Lance, from office, while the administration’s clashes with Democrats in Congress, on such things as pork barrel spending, hurt his agenda. His leadership style drew criticism for a lack of delegation. One widely shared story was that he even oversaw the schedule for play on the White House tennis court, although Stuart Eizenstat, said that Carter only wanted to ensure that he or First Lady Rosalynn Carter weren’t using it at the same time. “The notion that he micromanaged the schedule is just incorrect, but it fit in with this notion of excessive attention to detail. It was actually an act of huge generosity to his staff,” Eizenstat said at the National Book Festival in 2018. Carter’s energy policy was later seen as prescient, decades before climate change became a national priority with a solution to conserve and wean the public off of fossil fuels. The energy crisis of 1979 saw Americans again facing long lines at gas stations. Carter gave a nationally televised speech that summer, when he said that the problem was a “crisis of confidence.” “The erosion of our confidence in the future is threatening to destroy the social and the political fabric of America.” Although he never used the word, it became to be known as the “malaise” speech, contributing to the impression that Carter’s administration was flailing. The pinnacle of his presidency came on Sept. 17, 1978, when, following 12 days at Camp David, he announced a peace deal between Israel and Egypt, with a treaty signed the following year. Broadcasters interrupted their regular primetime programming — which that night included the Emmy Awards — to cover the deal. His foreign policy successes, though, were overshadowed by the Iranian hostage crisis. In November, 1979, following the revolution that ousted the U.S. supported Shah, a group of students seized the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, taking 52 diplomats and citizens hostage. The resulting attempts to free the hostages consumed Carter’s presidency. A rescue attempt on April 24, 1980 failed after helicopter crashes forced the mission to be aborted. Each night, Americans were reminded of the crisis on TV, as ABC created nightly reports called America Held Hostage with Ted Koppel, the forerunner to Nightline. Despite the ongoing crisis Carter was still viewed as having an incumbency advantage going into the 1980 presidential race, but his political fortunes turned as he faced a serious primary challenge from Edward Kennedy. Although he beat him for the presidential nomination, the intra-party battle left Democrats divided. More bruising to Carter’s political fortunes, though, was stagflation, or rising inflation combined with slowing economic growth and high unemployment. A recession in early 1980 coincided with the start of Carter’s reelection campaign. On the right, Ronald Reagan secured the Republican nomination with a mix of personal charisma and an ability to connect with working class voters, who came to be known as Reagan Democrats, disaffected with the state of the economy. Although Carter and his team tried to characterize Reagan as too extreme and untrustworthy, the former actor turned in a superior debate performance, in part with just one line in response to the incumbent president’s criticisms: “There you go again.” Reagan’s landslide was a bruising defeat for Carter, who was relatively young, 56, when he left office. He sold off his peanut business, then in deep debt , to Archer Daniels Midland, and earned a generous advance for his memoirs, Keeping Faith , the first of dozens of more books. But far from retiring, Carter pursued some of the human rights policy focus of his White House tenure. He built houses for Habitat for Humanity. He tried to solve the problem of Guinea worm disease in African countries and other regions, and, with his initiative, it has been nearly eradicated. He supervised elections. At times he acted as a peace broker, as he did during the Camp David accords. More than 20 years after leaving office, in 2002, Carter was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. “War may sometimes be a necessary evil,” Carter said in his acceptance speech. “But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn to live together in peace by killing each other’s children.” After his presidency, he and Rosalynn returned to Plains, GA, where they continued to be active members of the community. The former president’s regular Sunday school lessons at Maranatha Baptist Church became a stopping point for politicians and tourists until he was well into his 90s. In a profile in 2018, The Washington Post reported that Carter was “the only president of the modern era to return full-time to the house he lived in before he entered politics.” The Carters’ two-bedroom ranch home was assessed at $167,000, less than the cost of the Secret Service vehicles parked outside, the Post noted. James Earl Carter Jr. was born on October 1, 1924. He was raised in Plains and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy. He left his naval career in the 1950s to focus on the family business, peanut farming. At the time, Georgia was defiant in its resistance to segregation, but Carter spoke out in favor of school integration. He entered state politics in 1962 and was elected to the state senate, in an unlikely campaign that foreshadowed his work as an international election observer. He lost the Democratic primary, but proved widespread vote fraud orchestrated by a local political boss. Among other things, 117 voters had allegedly lined up in alphabetical order to cast their ballots, a fact that Carter recounted in his 2015 book, A Full Life: Reflections at Ninety. He eventually got on the general election ballot and won. Carter ran for governor of Georgia in 1966, but lost the primary to segregationist Lester Maddox. Carter ran against in 1970 and won. Carter is survived by three sons, John William (Jack), James Earl III (Chip) and Donnel Jeffrey (Jeff) and a daughter, Amy Lynn. His wife, Rosalynn, died in November 2023. They had been married for 77 years, longer than any presidential couple.HPH Announces Receipt of Minimum Bid Price Notice from NasdaqIsraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu underwent successful surgery Sunday to have his prostate removed, hospital officials said, a procedure that came as he manages multiple crises including the war in Gaza and his trial for alleged corruption. Netanyahu, who has had a series of health issues in recent years, has gone to great lengths to bolster a public image of himself as a healthy, energetic leader. During his trial this month, he boasted about working 18-hour days, accompanied by a cigar. But as Israel's longest-serving leader, such a grueling workload over a total of 17 years in power could take a toll on his well-being. Netanyahu, 75, is among older world leaders including U.S. President Joe Biden, 82, President-elect Donald Trump, 78, Brazil's President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, 79, and Pope Francis, 88, who have come under scrutiny for their age and health issues. Netanyahu's latest condition is common in older men, but the procedure has had some fallout. The judges overseeing his trial accepted a request from his lawyer on Sunday to call off three days of testimony scheduled this week. The lawyer, Amit Hadad, had argued that Netanyahu would be fully sedated for the procedure and hospitalized for “a number of days.” Jerusalem's Hadassah Medical Center announced late Sunday that the procedure had been “completed successfully.” Justice Minister Yariv Levin, a close ally, served as acting prime minister during the operation. Netanyahu is expected to remain hospitalized for several days. With so much at stake, Netanyahu’s health in wartime is a concern for both Israelis and the wider world. A turbulent time in the region As Israel’s leader, Netanyahu is at the center of major global events that are shifting the Middle East. With the dizzying pace of the past 14 months, being incapacitated for even a few hours can be risky. Netanyahu will be in the hospital at a time when international mediators are pushing Israel and Hamas to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and as fighting between Israel and Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels intensifies. Prostate issues are common and in many cases easily treatable. Still, the procedure puts a dent in Netanyahu’s image of vigor at a time when he would want to project strength more than ever, both to an Israeli audience navigating constant threats as well as to Israel’s enemies looking to expose its weaknesses. Previous health issues, including a heart condition Netanyahu insists he is in excellent health. His office releases footage of him touring war zones in full protective gear flanked by military officers, or meeting with defense officials on windswept hilltops in youthful dark shades and puffer jackets. But that image was shattered last year when Netanyahu’s doctors revealed that he had a heart condition, a problem that he had apparently long known about but concealed from the public. A week after a fainting spell, Netanyahu was fitted with a pacemaker to control his heartbeat. Only then did staff at the Sheba Medical Center reveal that Netanyahu has for years experienced a condition that can cause irregular heartbeats. The revelation came as Netanyahu was dealing with massive anti-government protests. The news about a chronic heart problem stoked further anger and distrust during extreme political polarization in Israel. Last year, Netanyahu was rushed to the hospital for what doctors said likely was dehydration. He stayed overnight, prompting his weekly Cabinet meeting to be delayed. Earlier this year, Netanyahu underwent hernia surgery, during which he was under full anesthesia and unconscious. Levin served as acting prime minister during the operation. Recovery can be quick According to Netanyahu’s office, the Israeli leader was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection on Wednesday stemming from a benign enlargement of his prostate. The infection was treated successfully with antibiotics, but doctors said the surgery was needed in any case. Complications from prostate enlargement are common in men in their 70s and 80s, Dr. Shay Golan, head of the oncology urology service at Israel’s Rabin Medical Center, told Israeli Army Radio. Golan spoke in general terms and was not involved in Netanyahu’s care or treatment. He said an enlarged prostate can block proper emptying of the bladder, leading to a build-up of urine that can lead to an infection or other complications. After medicinal treatment, doctors can recommend a procedure to remove the prostate to prevent future blockages, Golan said. In Netanyahu’s case, because the prostate is not cancerous, Golan said doctors were likely performing an endoscopic surgery, carried out by inserting small instruments into a body cavity, rather than making surgical cuts in the abdomen to reach the prostate. The procedure lasts about an hour, Golan said, and recovery is quick. He said that aside from catheter use for one to three days after the procedure, patients can return to normal activity without significant limitations. U.S. proposes voluntary guidelines for self-driving vehicles in waning days of Biden administrationNEW YORK, Dec. 28, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- My Blend is a groundbreaking blockchain project committed to integrating traditional ecosystems into a distributed digital space. Its methodology revolves around smart contracts, which execute transactions automatically based on predefined rules, reducing manual oversight and human error. By aligning established market practices with modern blockchain principles, Blend strives to create a system that is both verifiable and accessible to a wider audience. How Blend is Building an Evolving Ecosystem Beginning with gaming and expanding into AI and other industries, Blend aims to bridge the gap between conventional frameworks—where closed processes often lead to limited trust—and an environment where every participant can confirm outcomes, probabilities, and the flow of funds. Blend focuses on sustainable development that can adapt over time, emphasizing open participation at every step, letting the project adapt to new industry trends and community demands. A key motivator behind this evolving design is the desire to unite real-world operations with open, on-chain technology. In other words, instead of relying solely on traditional institutions or centralized platforms, Blend wants to eliminate obscure processes by moving critical components—such as game outcomes, probability calculations, and payout mechanisms—onto a public ledger. Initial Focus: Fair and Verifiable Gaming One of Blend's earliest and most prominent goals is to transform the gaming industry into a space where participants can see exactly how each round or match is determined. This shift marks a significant departure from traditional online casinos and gaming portals, which often rely on hidden algorithms or confidential odds. By contrast, games on Blend operate with open logic, meaning that everyone can review the parameters before deciding whether to join a table or place a wager. Planned Types of Games Betting Games Wager-based experiences bring an added level of excitement. However, they also come with the risk of undisclosed odds or unfair house edges. Blend mitigates these challenges by using verifiable techniques for determining probabilities. This ensures that bettors know their likelihood of winning before placing any money on the line. Card Games Card games have long been popular due to their blend of luck and strategy. By digitizing them with verifiable mechanics, Blend intends to ensure that each shuffle is unbiased. This addresses a common concern among online card players: "Are the cards truly random?" Since all operations occur within a blockchain framework, the shuffle process can be checked by anyone with the interest to do so. However, while the game is fully auditable, cards will remain private to their owners during gameplay through high-end encryption. Multiplayer Games Many online games pit players against bots or depend on hidden advantage mechanisms. Blend's approach aims to remove these suspicions by making game rules and performance data clearly visible. In these contests, user skill takes center stage, as there is no behind-the-scenes manipulation that skews outcomes. Board Games Traditional board games often require strategy, forward-thinking, and careful planning. By putting each move on-chain, Blend hopes to foster a sense of trust among participants. Players can track every piece movement, roll of the dice, or resource allocation with complete clarity. The Gaming Liquidity (GL) Model A standout aspect of Blend's approach to gaming involves the way it manages the "pot"—or the collective pool of funds used for rewards. Instead of a central house acting as the primary stakeholder, the system allows anyone to become a liquidity provider. This offers two main advantages: Community Ownership By allowing individuals to fund the gaming pools, Blend shifts the financial model from a single authoritative body to a distributed pool of participants. This widens the sense of ownership and encourages more individuals to get involved in the project. Shared Profits and Risks Liquidity providers are not just observers; they become crucial stakeholders. If participants in a game win, the payouts come from the GL pool. Conversely, if the house-like role sees overall gains, those providing liquidity benefit proportionately. Over time, this creates a dynamic where the broader user base collectively powers the platform. Chainlink Integration and On-Chain Verification For computations that must remain unbiased—particularly probability calculations and random number generation—Blend uses Chainlink. This is a well-known solution in the blockchain community for: Verifiable Randomness Generating random numbers within a fully on-chain environment can be complex. Chainlink helps ensure that random outcomes are genuinely unpredictable, preventing manipulation. Secure Feeds Many games rely on external data—anything from sports scores in certain betting scenarios to live events in real-time contexts. Chainlink provides dependable external data, enabling automated smart contracts to execute with accurate information. Immutable Records All probabilities and results are hashed and stored on a distributed ledger. This means that once they're recorded, no single party can alter them afterward, reinforcing credibility in the system. Expansion into AI and Image Generation While gaming is a focal point, Blend also plans to explore AI-driven applications as a complementary pursuit. This emerging sector includes: AI-Powered Chatbots Smart chatbots have grown increasingly popular for both customer service and personalized guidance. Blend aims to harness these technologies to support user queries, moderate gaming chats, or potentially even facilitate automatic matchmaking based on player preferences. Image Generation Tools AI-based tools that create images, artwork, or other creative outputs have captured the public's imagination. Blend is looking to incorporate these capabilities into its ecosystem, potentially offering unique digital art minted as NFTs or providing creative resources for game interfaces. Although these AI initiatives operate independently, the team envisions a synergy between blockchain gaming and intelligent systems, forming a well-rounded network of advanced technologies under one umbrella. Incentives and Profitability for Investors Initial Staking with Exclusive Benefits To incentivize early backers, Blend introduces a 10-day lock mechanism with a 15% return. Investors who lock their tokens during this initial period receive guaranteed yields, a move designed to reward those who show confidence in the project's roadmap. During this launch phase, participants also have access to a 12-level referral program , encouraging them to help the community expand. Commissions are distributed not just to direct referrers but also to multiple layers above them. Transition to Variable Staking Once the gaming platform, AI elements, and other key products reach operational maturity, the project plans to shift from a fixed-rate staking model to one driven by real profitability. This means that any returns offered to stakers would reflect the actual revenue generated by Blend's suite of services. Rather than relying on flat percentages, staking rewards would adjust in response to daily or weekly performance, aligning stakeholder interests with the health of the entire ecosystem. Governance and Community Decision-Making (DAO) A Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) underpins Blend's vision of shared responsibility. Under this model: Voting on Key Proposals Holding the project's token grants individuals the right to vote on initiatives such as partnerships, development priorities, or changes to incentive structures. Ongoing Engagement By integrating a DAO, Blend ensures that pivotal decisions are not made in private channels but rather in a transparent forum, open for discussion. This furthers the goal of creating an inclusive environment that values user feedback. Ecosystem Evolution As Blend moves beyond its foundational offerings, it will look for additional ways to bridge different industries with blockchain technology. Potential avenues include financial services (like decentralized lending or borrowing), extended entertainment collaborations, and even collaborations with established corporations seeking to optimize supply chain processes through smart contracts. The overarching ambition is to deliver a broad ecosystem where each new application—be it gaming, AI, or another area—connects back to a unified set of principles. Users can then explore diverse functionalities, all secured by the same base of trust and on-chain validation. Final Thoughts Blend represents a forward-thinking effort to unify traditional industries with the benefits of blockchain. Through decentralized governance mechanisms and the ongoing integration of advanced tools, the project's roadmap underscores the belief that active communities drive long-term success. Over time, Blend aspires to become a robust platform where new ideas can be tested, refined, and broadly implemented—with each contributor playing a meaningful role in shaping the journey.
